"Where there is light, there is darkness"

The title is a quote from Ridley Scott's "Legend".  So states the universal mantra of yin and yang,  The last couple of days here in the Greater Atlanta Area have been extraordinary, weather wise, but this morning was met with rain.  It is what it is and still a beautiful day.  One might ask, how can such gray and glum be beautiful?  Well in my opinion it's all about perception.  The Yaqui Indian Sorcerer Don Juan Matus once stated something along the lines of actually perceiving the world by stop looking at it and start seeing it.  Many of you understand the before mentioned, while some will not.  To see the world, a catalyst is often required, and that catalyst can come in many forms.

Research and explore, as there is so much in front of you.  Stop looking and start seeing.

  1. There is some geographical implications to be considered. Although the depth of this post goes beyond a simple observation of weather, it's important to note that those gray and rainy days, which for me were (at one time) met with sadness, are now met with nostalgia and a feeling of home. Gloomy Utah days are typically met with snow, and our rainy days are few and far between. Based simple on relocation, a rainy day has far different impact then it once did. (Plus the trails dry out way quicker here ;) )
